Google User Data

My PR Manager lets you connect your Google account so the app can work with your own Google services. This section explains exactly what Google user data we access, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and how long we keep it.

Data We Access

When you choose to connect your Google account, and only for the permissions you approve on Google's consent screen, we may access:

  • Basic account information (your Google email address, name and profile picture), to identify which Google account is connected.
  • Google Search Console (webmasters scope): your verified sites, search performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, position), and sitemaps.
  • Google Analytics (analytics.readonly scope, read-only): your Analytics accounts, properties and traffic reports such as visitors, sessions and traffic sources.
  • Blogger (blogger scope): your blogs and posts.
  • Google Business Profile (business.manage scope): your business locations, posts, reviews and performance information.

We also store the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues, so the app can keep your data up to date without asking you to sign in every time.

How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you use inside My PR Manager:

  • Showing your Search Console and Analytics data in your dashboards, reports and shared reports you create.
  • Adding your website to Search Console and submitting your sitemaps, when you ask the app to do so.
  • Publishing and managing posts on your Blogger blogs, when you ask the app to do so.
  • Showing, publishing and managing your Google Business Profile posts and reviews, when you ask the app to do so.
  • Generating AI-powered insights and answering your questions about your own data (for example in AI Analysis and Chat with AI), when you use those features.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build user profiles for any purpose unrelated to the features above. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models.

Who We Share Google User Data With

We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • AI service providers (OpenAI, DeepSeek or Google Gemini, depending on the AI engine configured): when you use an AI feature, the relevant part of your data, such as a summary of your search or traffic figures, is sent to the provider only to generate the answer or report you asked for. These providers process the data on our behalf and do not use it to train their models under their API terms.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and run our application, under confidentiality and security obligations.
  • People you choose to share with: if you create a share link for a report, anyone with that link can view that report until the link expires or you remove it.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, or to protect the rights, security or safety of our users or the public.

Human staff do not read your Google user data except with your explicit permission (for example, to help with a support request you send), when needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or to comply with the law.

How We Protect Google User Data

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS (TLS) connections, both between your browser and our servers and between our servers and Google.
  • Data is stored on secured servers with restricted access. Each account can only access its own data.
  • Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate the service.
  • We request only the permissions needed for the features you use, and Analytics access is read-only.

Retention and Deletion of Google User Data

  • We keep Google user data only for as long as your Google account stays connected and your My PR Manager account is active, so that your reports and history stay available.
  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the app. When you do, we revoke the access token with Google and stop collecting new data from your Google account.
  • You can also remove My PR Manager's access at any time from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • To have all stored Google user data deleted, email us at support@myprmanager.com. We will delete it within 30 days of your request. When you close your My PR Manager account, the Google user data associated with it is deleted within 30 days.

Google API Services User Data Policy

My PR Manager's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
